Xiaomi says its new Redmi Note 4 has become the fastest selling smartphone in India. The Chinese firm said it had moved more than one million units in just 45 days since its launch, meaning one sold every four seconds. Xiaomi had previously claimed it sold 2,50,000 units of the Redmi Note 4 on Flipkart and Mi.com in just under 10 minutes on January 23. Xiaomi’s Redmi series has doen quite well in India, but its more expensive phones like the Mi 5, failed to live up to the hype.
The xiaomi redmi note 4, like its predecessor, features a 5.5-inch full HD display and an all metal design. The smartphone comes in three different storage options: 2 and 3GB RAM models with 32GB storage and a 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage. It has an a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. A 4100mAh battery and is made available in Gray, Gold and Black colour options. The Redmi Note 4 features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
