Huawei not only launched its Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and the Mate 10 Pro Porsche Design but also reportedly showcased the Mate 10 Lite. As the name suggests, the smartphone is the less powerful variant of the Huawei Mate 10 and will be sold for EUR 400 (roughly Rs 30,500). It will be made available in Gold, Graphite Black and Aurora Blue colour variants. Customers in Europe will be able to get their hands on the device starting next month.
Running Android 7.0 Nougat-based EMUI, the Huawei Mate 10 Lite sports a 5.9-inch Full HD+ (1080x2160pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the octa-core Kirin 659 processor along with 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The dual-SIM supporting handset has a hybrid SIM slot so users can expand the inbuilt storage with a microSD card as well.
The Huawei Mate 10 Lite has four cameras in total. It has a 16MP+2MP camera combination at the back for better portrait shots. At the front you get a 13MP+2MP combination. It is backed by a 3,340mAh battery.
The Huawei Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Pro are better in almost every sphere, let it be the camera, display or battery. The Mate 10 comes with a 5.9-inch 2560 x 1440 LCD while the Mate 10 Pro's display is a 6-inch 2160 x 1080 OLED. In addition, the former comes with a 3.5MM headphone jack whereas the latter ditches it completely. Both are powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC and are backed by 4000mah battery.
Huawei Mate 10 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Mate 10 Pro, on the other hand, will be available in two variants - 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage. Both support microSD card slots.
They also have 20MP monochrome sensor and 12MP RGB sensor, along with an 8MP front-facing camera.
