It seems that Lenovo-owned Motorola is said to be working on its next generation of G series of smartphones. According to popular tipster Evan Blass, the company will launch its Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play smartphones next year.
Evan Blass tweeted, 'Next year will see the return of Play to Lenovo's Moto G lineup in the form of the Moto G6 Play (alongside the G6 and G6 Plus).'
The Moto G6 and G6 Plus will be the successor to this year's launched Moto G5 and G5 Plus. However, the Moto G6 Play will be the successor to Moto G4 Play which was launched last year.
Recently, Lenovo-owned Motorola launched its Moto G5S and G5S Plus smartphones in India. The Moto G5S is priced at ₹13,999, while the Moto G5S Plus will be available at ₹15,999.
Billed as successors to the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus smartphones, the new 'Special Edition' smartphones run on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box and support metal unibody design. They have a home button at the front embedded with a fingerprint scanner. The duo comes in Iron Grey and Blush Gold color variants.
The Moto G5S sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The processor is clubbed with 4GB RAM. It includes 32GB inbuilt storage and can support up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The Moto G5S Plus has a larger 5.5-inch full HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The handset comes in 4GB RAM+32GB storage model. Also supported is a microSD card with up to 128GB storage.
