Xiaomi has sent invitations, hinting at a launch of a new smartphone series next month. The Chinese tech firm has also posted a teaser on Twitter. The company has not mentioned as to which smartphone it will be launching, it, however, does mention #YourBestSelfie hashtag along with the text "Your best self is within you!" It could also introduce MIUI 9 alongside.
This strongly indicates that the upcoming smartphone in the new series will focus on selfie lovers and may have a good front-facing camera. The launch is said to be on November 2. Since Xiaomi will launch a selfie-centric smartphone, it indeed could be the Redmi Note 5A smartphone.
The smartphone was launched in China in August this year and has a 16MP front-facing camera (premium models), which is one of the highest front camera megapixel count seen in smartphones.
It is worth adding that the company's Mi Note series is yet to debut in India. If not the Redmi Note 5A, the company may launch Mi Note 3, which is more powerful and stands at par with the flagship Mi 6. It was launched in China last month and also comes with 16MP front-facing cameras. Whatever be the device, we will get to know more about it as the launch date comes close.
Furthermore, the company vice president, Manu Jain also posted a pic on Twitter, teasing the handset. Many claim it to be the Mi Note 3.
