Reliance Jio has announced Dhan Dhana Dhan offer that gives users 84 days of free and unlimited data and voice calls starting at Rs 309. The new offer will come into effect after April 15, once the deadline to subscribe to Jio Prime membership and free Jio services ends.

The company has long been nudging its users to go for Prime subscriptions, it's paid membership plan which costs Rs 99 for enrolment, followed by a recharge plan starting from Rs 19 and now this new plan, coming out of the blue,  has left its users more confused and baffled.

So what is this Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer and how is it going to benefit you? What will happen to the Prime users now and what about those who haven't subscribed to any plan yet? These and similar more question, we try to explain here.

What is Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer?

Jio Dhan Dhana offer is company's new data plan that offers unlimited data, free voice calls and unlimited access to Jio bouquet of services for 84 days. These plans are available for Prime, non-prime and new Jio subscribers as well.

What does Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer?

There are basically two pans: 1GB data and 2GB data plans. This data is for one day.

Rs 309 plan for Prime customers: Users who have already taken the Prime subscription for Rs 99 will get unlimited voice calls, SMSes and 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days at Rs 309. This means in total they will get 84GB 4G data. Once the data limit is exhausted,the Jio services will still work but at a reduced speed of 128kbps.

Rs 408 plan for new customers and non Prime members: Those who have newly bought a Jio SIM, they can avail 1GB data plan by paying Rs 408. They will also get unlimited voice calls, SMSes and 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days but at higher price.

Then there is a 2GB data plan that starts from Rs 509 and goes up to Rs 608. Here is what it offers.

Rs 509 plan for Prime customers: Users who have already taken the Prime subscription for Rs 99 will get unlimited voice calls, SMSes and 2GB 4G data per day for 84 days at RS 309. This means in total 168GB of 4G data.

Rs 608 plan for new customers and non-Prime members: Those who have newly bought a Jio SIM, they can avail 1GB data plan by paying Rs 408. They will also get unlimited voice calls, SMSes and 2GB 4G data per day for 84 days but at a higher price.

What happens to the Prime subscribers now?

If you have already subscribed to  Jio Prime, you can recharge with Rs 309 and avail 1GB 4G data per day, unlimited local, STD, national roaming voice calls & SMS and access to Jio Premium apps. You can also recharge with Rs. 509 and get 2GB high speed data per day, unlimited local, STD, national roaming voice calls & SMS and access to Jio Premium apps.  Non-Prime users can recharge with Rs 408 or Rs 608 and access the same benefits.
