Sony seems all set to launch its new Xperia smartphones in India as it has set out invitations for September 25. While there is no word as to which models the Japanese tech firm will launch at the event, recent speculations point towards the arrival of Xperia XZ1 series. Sony earlier this month launched three smartphones at its IFA 2017 event in Berlin, Germany . At the event, Sony launched the Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact and the Xperia XA1 Plus.

The highlight of the Xperia XZ1 is the 3D scanning mode, as part of which, the device allows you to capture high-resolution 3D images.
The Xperia XZ1 comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by Snapdragon 835 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Users can also install microSD cards of up to 265GB for additional storage. Backed by a 2700mAh battery, the Xperia XZ1 runs latest Android 8.0 Oreo. The dual-sim handset offers 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, VoLTE, NFC as major connectivity options.
For imaging duties, the Xperia XZ1 offers 19MP Exmor RS sensor with the ability to shoot slow motion video at 960 frames per second, predictive capture and 4K video recording. As for the front camera, the device has a 13MP sensor with a 22mm wide angle lens and an aperture of f/2.0 lens.
The Xperia XZ1 comes in fou r colours: Moonlit Blue, Venus Pink, Warm Silver, and Black.
Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact
Since the Xperia XZ1 Compact is a smaller version of the XZ1, the two smartphones have a few common specs. The XZ1 Compact has the same processor, RAM, OS, battery and even the rear camera as the XZ1 smartphone.
The difference is in terms of the display. The XZ1 Compact has a 4.6-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The front camera of the smartphone is an 8MP camera.
The XZ1 Compact comes in Black, White Silver, Horizon Blue, and Twilight Pink.
