Indian smartphone leader Xiaomi has already confirmed that the company is going to launch the much-speculated successor of the Mi Mix 2 smartphone.
As per the latest leak on slashleaks website, some more specifications of the upcoming handset have emerged. As per the leak, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will sport a 6.1-inch FHD+ display with 2160 x 1080p resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device will run on MIUI 9.8.2.1 and will have 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Also, it will be backed by a massive 4400mAh battery and will come with a 16MP camera.
Previously, the company had confirmed that the handset will be unveiled on March 27, in its home country China.

Along with the confirmation date, the company has also revealed that the upcoming handset will be powered by Qualcomm's latest and most-powerful processor Snapdragon 845, which incidentally also powers the latest flagship from South Korean tech giant Samsung. The company provided image also showed that the Mi Mix 2S scored 273,741 on AnTuTu, which is said to be one of the best scores seen on an Android smartphone till date.
It is unclear at the moment whether the Chinese smartphone maker will bring the successor to the Mi Mix 2 in India or not as the first Mi Mix smartphone never made it to the domestic markets even though the Mi Mix 2 was launched in the country.
Besides this, Xiaomi is also working on the Mi 7, the flagship smartphone from the company, slated to be launched in June this year. Recently, the company launched a few devices in India -- Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Mi TV 4 smart TV. The most notable of the launch was the Mi TV 4 as it officially marked the entry of Xiaomi in a new segment. The Mi TV 4 is the first TV from the company for the Indian market and comes at Rs 39,999. It becomes available via flash sales on both Flipkart and Mi.com.
